These are great boxes for extra storage, especially w/ pedestal seats… plus you can order them in a custom (shorter) length, just have to ask! Store rod tubes, extra fly boxes, and all sorts of other stuff. I lined the bottom of mine w/ foam padding to cover the bolts. You may have to stretch a little further to climb in the boat, but well worth that minor inconvenience.
