Peter grew up fishing both the salt and freshwater in Montauk, NY, a town famous for its stripe bass fishing. Located at the very tip of Long Island however it did not present an opportunity to fish for trout.  While attending college at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh a passion for fly fishing was discovered. He graduated with a degree in environmental studies with a focus on natural systems and many classes in river ecology, entomology, and lake ecology. These studies afforded a broader understanding of river communities, which adds to the joy of fishing.
 
After graduating, he moved to Wyoming to Fly Fish as much as possible and to work towards becoming a guide. He has been guiding now in Wyoming now since 2016 and takes great pleasure sharing his love of Fly Fishing and river ecology with the people ge meets and guides on the waters that he loves.
