Pat Bennett

Pat Bennett has been fly fishing the Henry's Fork area since 1970 when his grandfather built a cabin in Island Park.    After twenty-two years as an infantry officer, Pat retired from the army and began doing what he truly loves, fly fishing.   He began guiding for Hyde Outfitters in 1997.  He is a very patient, enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor who really enjoys teaching those new to fly fishing as well as the experienced angler.  Pat was a member of the Hyde team that placed third in the ESPN Team Fly Fishing Challenge in 2002.  Pat is an expert in all aspects of fly fishing.  Pat and his wife Deneice, live in Rexburg, Idaho.   Pat is a representative for Solitude Fly Company during the off season.
