Luke Thompson
After spending his youth chasing trout
in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, Luke
headed west in search of big trout in 1997 and soon
found his second home on the banks of the Henry's Fork.
After spending his first season on the Henry's Fork
working for Harriman State Park, Luke moved across the
highway and has been with Hyde Outfitters ever since.
Luke enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels,
but prides himself on his low stress teaching tactics
to those new to the sport of fly fishing. Luke believes
in peaceful, relaxing days on the river, and he has
often been told that he has "the patience of Job"
when it comes to teaching the intricacies of fly fishing.
